WHAT WE DO
Community Recreational Initiatives Society (CRIS) is a non-profit organization offering various outdoor and wilderness programs to outdoor enthusiasts with disabilities. Programs offered by CRIS vary, depending on the activity, the location, and the participant's abilities. Whether you are an experienced outdoor, wilderness enthusiast or just want a first-time experience on local park trails or lakes, CRIS has a program suited for you. With short hourly strolls down park trails or a relaxing shoreline paddle, the types of experiences we offer are limited only by our societal boundaries. Summiting mountain peaks, paddling pristine waterways, or hiking in remote areas are only some of the possibilities.
BC Blind Sports Tandem Cycling program is now available in the Okanagan. To participate, or for more information, contact CRIS
