Tandem Cycling

NEW IN 2007: Tandem cycling is now available for all people with disabilities. With funding received over the winter, CRIS has acquired two new TANDEM RECUMBENT TRIKES. This new acquisition provides the opportunity for people with various disabilities, such as CP, MS and paralysis to participate in cycling programs. This is due to the integration of laid-back seating, stationary foot braces and body harnesses. These new bikes are sure to be a big hit, as more participants are going to be able to experience the freedom of cycling local trails and pathways while exhilarating in the feeling of the wind in their face.
